strobist- 580ex clamped to tripod and off to the right a little below the lens, also i had a homemade light diffuser on the flash. (the bottom of a rubbing alcohol container, it's like they were made for it)
This is a completely real photo though it's not the usual hummingbird way with blurry backgrounds but i always want more to look at... and nothing better than putting our own house in the shot, serves as a nice memory of that day.
the cameras lens, (sigma 10-20) was about 3-4 inches from the bird, they would even fly a little off center just to avoid hittin the camera i think. I triggered the camera with pocket wizards, from the kitchen while eating a sandwich... thats our house.
Lenovo Mini Wireless Keyboard
Great little keyboard for my HTPC.
Got it for $35 bucks shipped from Hong Kong.
The only problem for me is that the keys are not backlit so it's hard to type in the dark. One of the main reasons I chose it however was for it's ambidextrous design.
